The Beyond Earth Film Festival encourages the pursuit of interpersonal harmony, spirituality, community development and entrepreneurship through film.BEFF was launched in 2016 to help promote that sustainable development is achievable with action.

Beyond Earth Film Festival is also an internationally celebrated entity. We present filmmakers through the world with a platform to exhibit their films and share knowledge. In the words of founder P. Venkatesh That, "BEFF is not just another film festival revolving around me, myself and I, Beyond Earth Film Festival aims at developing a film culture wherein filmmaking is taken up as a form of activism to further promote understanding among people of international communities."

BEYOND EARTH FILM FESTIVAL (BEFF) is a monthly live screening film festival with an annual live screening mega award event in the capital of West Bengal. The monthly live screenings take place at the end of each month at Amra Adbhut Cafe and Dolchut Adda. And Mega event happens at Ecospace the prestigious Red Carpet auditorium.​

 

The annual event is a glamorous red carpet premiere with media coverage in Kolkata. The participants have excellent opportunities to exchange their ideas, ideologies, and cultural innuendos. The winners have a chance to meet with the audience after screening.
